Washington—Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today released the following statement after Republicans scheduled a vote on Brett Kavanaugh for Friday morning:
“For Republicans to schedule a Friday vote on Brett Kavanaugh today, two days before Dr. Blasey Ford has had a chance to tell her story, is outrageous.
“First Republicans demanded Dr. Blasey Ford testify immediately. Now Republicans don’t even need to hear her before they move ahead with a vote.
“It’s clear to me that Republicans don’t want this to be a fair process.”
Diane the dumb** - they hear the lady’s story then they weigh what they heard, make up their mind and vote - confirm or not - just like a jury hears testimony and goes in, weighs what they heard and takes vote - guilty or not.
Diane dear, THAT IS the PROCESS. I would think all these decades in DC you would at least have grasped that much of your job.

What’s outrageous is sitting on a letter for over two months, and not sharing it with anyone else on the Committee, then letting a staff member release it to the press without even conferring with Senator Grassley, Committee Chairman.
The Democratic reaction to Kavanaugh tells me he is the right man.
A few decades ago I worked for the City of SF, doing technical work for many departments including the mayor's office. One day when I met up with a co-worker for lunch, he told me that Mayor Dianne Feinstein was passing him in the basement hallway on her way out when she tripped, and he caught her before she crashed to the floor. I've never forgiven him. Knowing now what she has become, I think he doesn't forgive himself. Should have let her fall. Knowing how evil she has become, I wished he kicked her.

Ford’s latest attorney is running the show. He not a special interest atty like katz. If an attorney’s job is to protect his client, why would he risk her appearing esp now that he knows Rachel, a sex crimes prosecutor, will be asking the questions and the vote date set.I see Ford talking on The View not the committee. She will complain about security or only wants to be questioned by senators. She will find an excuse
Huh? Last I heard, Friday was after Thursday, not two days before. If it’s the scheduling, then I’m for voting Thursday right after they get back from lunch. We, the People have had enough of Dianne’s delays.
