I never claimed the restaurant was complicit. Nor do I think the maitre de and receptionist could have physically stopped then would have called the Police as soon as the mob stormed in.
I was merely stating the idea that there are people who restrict entry in a up-scale restaurant, you can’t just wander in and go up to a table.
