Sounds very credible. But I would prefer that Trump not fire him but let the IG examine the evidence and fire him.

I expect Sessions to offer the ultimatum to Rosenstein, unconditional resignation or be fired.
Rosenstein will likely prefer to be fired for political reasons but he loses out on a lot of pension $.
