Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has verbally resigned to Chief of Staff John Kelly in anticipation of being fired by President Trump, according to a source with direct knowledge.
Per a second source with direct knowledge: “He’s expecting to be fired,” so plans to step down. Background: Rosenstein talked last year invoking the 25th Amendment and wearing a wire during Trump meetings, the N.Y. Times' Adam Goldman and Michael S. Schmidt reported last week. He denied both allegations.
You know he’s going to join the coup plotters behind the scenes now. I wonder how many documents he stole and recordings he made in the last few months?
yep no source ...but someone from RR inner circle or RR himself had to leak it to get the chaos started..

That man would be Noel Francisco, the current Solicitor General. From 2003 to 2005 he was Deputy Asst. Attorney General of the Bush administration.

Now thinking for a moment, this might be a plot by deep state to FORCE trump to take action against Rosenstein. Someone leaked that he’s resigning, now he’s not resigning and the WH has to fire him. A deep state person could have told Rod that he’s about to be fired today or tomorrow to plant a seed and cause chaos
Regarding Ed Whelan, what are his qualifications? I don't know his history beyond his recent scheming to support Kavanaugh.
