What Grassley, Collins, Flake and Graham should say immediately:
“As a matter of principle, the disputed memories of claimed events among drunk teenagers 35 or more years ago are too unreliable to form the basis of a sound investigation by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Therefore, we are cancelling the hearing scheduled for Thursday of this week and will be holding the originally-scheduled committee vote on the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh on Monday, September 24, 2018.”
What does this new allegation have to do with whether Ford will testify on Thursday? This is just another stall tactic. Ford clearly has no intention of testifying.
