Also, there's the polygraph (it's not a "lie detector") issue.
One suspects that it was faked, and done to PREVENT a comprehensive and well-conducted polygraph.
IF the committee wants to put this to rest, they might only need to ask Ms. Ford words to the effect that...
Would you agree, Dr. Ford, to a carefully proctored and refereed polygraph exam, including a blood test to screen for drugs immediately following the exam?
If she is lying (she is) she would never agree to such terms.

There is no such thing as a “well-conducted” polygraph. It is B.S. pseudo-science.
I would suspect that the committee lawyers have already talked with the polygraph operator and have subpoenaed the report.
