If I were team Kavanaugh I would have waited until there was something more specific from Ford before coming out with the calendars.
It seemed obvious that she was being vague with the date because she didn’t want to pick a date and then get contradicted with evidence for example that the Kavanaugh family was away on a vacation trip on that date.
One reason the Democrats were pushing for an FBI investigation and for Kavanaugh to testify first about the summer of 82 was to get information about Kavanaugh’s wereabouts out there first and avoid Ford exposing herself to a lying charge, allowing her to wait and then tailor her story to Kavanaugh’s information.
You can darn well bet that if he has calendars from 1982 he sure as heck has them for the remaining years..no one makes a calendar for one year and that’s it

I agree with you, but if a deliberate leak from Team Kavanaugh, maybe they’re faking her out. Let slip the year 1982 so she’ll try to switch years .... suspect he’s got calendars for the other years he was in HS so if she tries to switch, he’s got that covered, too. She’s already said she was 15 or so ... that pretty much cranks it down to certain years. When she gets all wishy washy, which would likely happen with this scenario, her credibility, which is pretty much zero to anyone with common sense (this eliminates all Dems/Libs/Progs/FemiNazis) enters negative numbers.
One more thing - this is a NYSlimes reporter so I’m not inclined to believe much that they have to say and if it’s true, they’re likely leaking to hurt Kavanaugh.
Don’t be surprised if the next move by Debra Katz/Christine Ford is to refuse to testify until the Kavanaugh calendars have been provided to her in advance.
Yes, it’s outrageous, but it provides another avenue to try to delay matters and ultimately, I doubt that she really wants to go under oath and testify at the end of the day.
Their whole strategy is decided day-to-day based on what would be most effective in delaying things. They have the mainstream media supporting them in whatever ridiculous claims they insist on.
They already are at the point where they successfully have stalled such that it would be too late to get a new nominee on the court before the mid-term elections.
They know the Republicans do not have the balls to confirm a nominee as lame ducks, if they lose the Senate.
