My guess is that his letter was leaked to the media by Ford’s lawyers in order to put one over on the committee. It is an attempt to back them into a corner. The committee needs to release a letter explaining that this is no deal at all. And times up.
I think what they want is for the republicans to just hold the vote so they can say Republicans ignored this woman - then cry foul over their manufactured bullsh$t.
