Not sure. Tucker claimed that if they waited until then, the vote wouldn’t occur until after the election. I didn’t hear him give his reasoning for that. Could be it would mess up one of their 4 day weekends.
And Tucker is WRONG, which isn’t stopping a ton of people, here, from posting it over and over and over again.
