Now even my doctor, whose professional duty was to care for my mental health, had suggested that my reality was a lie. Isn't it a psychiatrist's job to point out when a patient's "reality" is a lie?

Actually, I think it did happen.
The Doctor, being a canny girl, figured out how to fire her client.
This woman doesn’t have any real problems at all, and yet she’s coming apart at the seams.
My kids volunteered last weekend at the Annual Lion’s Fishing Derby. Most were blind, some were also deaf, and a also couldn’t speak. I thanked God for my problems right then and there.
