Ford has reportedly told friends she is uncomfortable in confined spaces, indicating a physical difficulty in making the trip by plane...a bit bizarre in itself, since most people who don't like flying are afraid of the idea of going high into the air, what if the motor quits and all the rest - a car is even more confining than a plane, where at least one can get up and go to the bathroom and walk around a bit if needed - makes me wonder how she got to her congresswoman's office to begin with....
