Agreed.

Turtle has his moments when he is infuriating but he has been solid on judicial nominations. Yes, everyone wants "right now" but that is not the way it ever works. We wouldn't have Gorsuch if it wasn't for his courage, and he took a whole lot of flack for that one. If he says it's gonna happen and soon, I think you can take that to the bank.

Flake seems to be the key here. Flake once said if she doesn't testify Monday, we proceed with the vote.

He's not up for reelection so he may not give a damn, but to back off of his own committment makes a fool of Grassley, Mitch, the Senate as a whole, and the common rule of law, including the right of the accused to confront his accuser. If Flake surrenders any further, he turns all on it's head.

Senators Grassley, Mitch and many more won't let themselves to be made fools.
