The Sept. 11-17 poll found that 36 percent of adults surveyed did not want Kavanaugh in the Supreme Court, up 6 points from a similar poll conducted a month earlier. Only 31 percent of U.S. adults polled said they were in favor of Kavanaugh’s appointment...Support for Kavanaugh was higher among Republicans, but fewer than two out of three, or 64 percent, said they were in favor of his nomination...More women--33 percent--opposed Kavanaugh’s nomination...

Jimmy Webb, the songwriter, is one of the great pop songwriters of the last 50 years.
The lyrics to “Wichita Lineman” is hauntingly simple but communicates a vast array of loneliness...just like that lineman on a pole out in the middle of nowhere.
Glen Campbell was a virtuoso on guitar and, before he became a star, was a HIGHLY respected studio musician and a member of the “Wrecking Crew” - THE number one group of the very best studio musicians that played on hit songs from Sinatra to Beach Boys.
As an aside, Eddie Van Halen once asked Glen to give him a guitar lesson - that’s just one example of how respected Glen was in the music industry.
Fun Fact on “Wichita Lineman”...
Jimmy Webb had only written the two verses and considered it unfinished; however Glen decided to record it, as is, and played the middle solo on a 6-string bass guitar he borrowed from the great bassist, Carol Kaye, also a fellow member of the Wrecking Crew.
YouTube has lots of versions including the studio version - incredible song performed by an equally incredible singer/guitarist. Glen & Jimmy Webb had other collaborations including “By The Time I Get To Phoenix” and “Galveston” worth checking out if “Wichita Lineman” sounds good to you.

I am a 79 year old retired Police Officer. Sadly to say I have always been a real Conservative but honesty cannot compete with liars and the Democrat Party are not only Liars they are Evil.
Another problem is so called Conservative Politicians have no guts and this is what the Republican Party elects. I truly believe in retrospect Americas only chance against Evil,Democrats,the lazy and illegal aliens would be to become Civil Libertarians like Alan Dersowhich and Judge Napolitano . There would probably be more crime but the Criminals always win under the Democrats anyway.
