What is most interesting is that this letter was supposedly sent, according to CNN and others, “this summer, before the allegations against Kavanaugh were made public.” How is it he knew this allegation was made if it was not yet public. Suggests that Feinstein or someone conducted a little investigation before releasing the Ford letter. This could explain why she did not release the Ford letter back in the summer when she received it. She found it not credible but the looming threat of Kavanaugh approval has caused her to throw credibility to the wind.
