Presidents are not simply subject to the constitution, but also subject to the laws passed by previous congresses and signed by previous presidents that have remained in effect. And rest assured there are many laws that addresses how classified information is to be handled. The president and congress are subject to those laws.
I agree President Trump has the authority to declassify the documents in question, but he has that authority because several bureaucracies have exceeded their authority by withholding documents congressional oversight committees have a right to review unredacted. He does not have any blanket authority to declassify anything he might like to declassify, nor does any president.
I happen to think you are just a bit too much on the side of the obstructionists who are attempting to delegitimize our duly elected president, Donald J. Trump.
One of the dumbest statements you'll ever make.
Your actions speak louder than words. Your insistence on limiting the president’s powers IN FAVOR OF the legislative branch is lopsided to say the least. Yes, the legislative branch makes laws but it is the EXECUTIVE branch which enforces them. If the president decides to declassify something he has the power to do so. The legislative branch cannot ORDER the executive branch to produce documents, they can only ASK. The FBI and DOJ answer to the president, not to the legislative branch. The dumb Dems have ORDERED the documents in question to NOT BE DECLASSIFIED. They have no RIGHT nor POWER to order anybody in the Executive branch. They have overstepped the division of powers established by the Constitution.
I don’t make dumb statements so be careful whom you attack!!!
