Not defending DiFi by any means, but I thought I read that some reporter found out she had the letter. And this reporter was going to write a story and forced her to do something about it. (which was to send to the FBI).

Could explain why DiFi didn’t bring it forward sooner, if it is true, this lady also accused Gorsuch last year.
