This will prove definitively whether AG Sessions is a white hat or a black hat. If he covers for his agency's refusal to comply, that will settle many months of heated debates.

If the materials are declassified, I think the members of the committees that have seen them can now speak freely about them. That might be the recourse to get the public engaged enough to matter.
