The funny thing is, everybody knows that women lie all the time. Just like men lie all the time. About a lot of things.
This fallacy the women’s movement has pushed that women never lie is a thing we should have stopped long ago, before it gained such traction.
Whenever anybody tells me women never lie, I ask them if the women in the case Roe Vs Wade was raped. They will either not know, or they will say yes, that came out in the trial.
Then I tell them that she lied about being raped, in order to make her case seem more sympathetic. They never believe me, until they look it up (some don’t look it up).
Of course, we have a lot of contemporary evidence. And the liberals are always saying women are lying, like when it’s a democrat that is being accused (Franken was done in by an actual picture; the only reason ANYBODy believed the charges against Clinton was there was an actual dress with his semen on it).
I almost hate to write this about my own sex but I do think women are more likely to lie in order to extract revenge than man are. They are also often more pragmatic believing that the end does always justify the means. I don’t know why such a romanticized vision of the innocence of women ever gained a foothold. We are human with all the faults of our kind. Unfortunately this has lead to widespread myths like “No one ever lies about being raped.”
What a woman claims (especially if it can ruin a person’s life” should be subject to the same objective scrutiny a man’s statement would be subject to. If not we are demeaning women and saying they are not moral agents with free will.
