Aging is too often terribly cruel. Look at those eyes and smile; they are actually contagious. With that said, I know women her age that are vibrant and active. It makes me wonder how much of her deterioration is due to something more metaphysical; say an ideology that rots at ones morals and ethics. The healthiness of one's spirit can and does manifest physically.
