Two Russian nuclear-capable bombers accompanied by two fighter jets were identified and intercepted by two F-22 Raptor fighters with North American Aerospace Defense Command on Tuesday “west of mainland Alaska.”
The Russian aircraft — two Tu-95 bombers and two Su-35 fighter jets — did not cross into U.S. or Canadian airspace, the incident marks the second time in September that Russian bombers have approached Alaska.

I wonder if the Russians ever saw our F-22’s. Unless they have updated their onboard radar systems they may not know that we were close enough to write down their tail numbers.

I saw the F-35, F-16 and several F-4 ones when I was looking for Soviet intercepts. The point is that this happens all the time and seems to only be a news worthy story now that the commie press hates the commie Russians because it helps their phoney narrative against Trump.

I remember many years ago, the U.S. got Canada to scrap a very advanced fighter, the Avro Arrow. The reason was the program was chock full of Soviet spies. The plane was so advanced that we did not want the Russians to have it.
In exchange we gave them a bunch of F-101s.

Russia attacks, ISIS Gases some people with captured gas and gets it in the news video—Then the USA will attack Russia/Syria etc... Easy. Kill 40 kids—win the war and get the USA and stupid Trump to take out their enemy. Only problem is—Trump knows their game now.
The 22s likely had radar enhances/reflectors - those Russian planes are collecting intel - data of the F22 is a plus. I’d worry more about the SU35s
