Fayetteville NC--Cumberland County, the city of Fayetteville and town of
Wade have issued a mandatory evacuation order for all residents within
one mile of the banks of the Cape Fear River and the Little River

Crankyweatherguy is saying that the models are starting to pick up on the “funneling” effect of the mountains. I don’t understand the technical details well enough to completely understand his blog.

A poster on http://www.wxdisco.com/ is reporting both coastal radar stations in NC are out. The Raleigh station reaches down there, but not well.
