Hi FRiends!
Posting tonight instead of in the morning because I’m going to have to leave for work early due to lots of flooding around here! We’ll be taking the long way around to get to town!
Meanwhile, here’s a link to an interesting video that everybody should view: Two former intelligence officials talking about the corruption in the intelligence agencies at the top levels: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wffo7kig-kI&t=2107s

listen every week day!
Good morning, Sneakers.
Hope you managed to stay dry this weekend. Even coming to work this morning was a struggle.
Woo Hoo...The left is in panic mode!!
Morning RWI!
Just got to work. The flooding around here is unbelieveable! Good thing we left early. I got here just in time. We had our basement waterproofed several months ago. Looks like it was good timing. We had a sump pump installed and it has a battery that kicks on when the power goes out. Pricey but well worth it! I imagine it’s REALLY bad where you are! We used to live in Groveton (outside Coraopolis) and I remember the Ohio river flooding all the way up to our garden. We were about 1/4 mile from the river and slightly uphill so it didn’t reach our house, but they had to rescue the elderly couple who lived below us. Took them out by rowboat. That was in the early 60’s.
The flooding everywhere has been really awful.
My house had sump pumps in the basement when I bought it. They’ve been running all weekend during this terrible rain, but I still managed to get a little water in my basement that appears to have come in through a wall.
It’s not devastating, but I have to go and purchase more plastic tubs for whatever belongings I manage to salvage.
