She will most likely get off with a slap on the wrist, at the most. Her buddy cops are probably going through everything on the victim to see if they kind find something to make this somehow justifiable.

There are a lot of good cops, but there are a lot of bad ones too who have no business with a badge. Especially big city cops. I have seen first hand, cops trying to wiggle out of a sticky situation, and their buddies helping them.

Give a few months, when the spotlight is off, she will be back on the job.
