They didn’t show the flag because the flag, and taking it to the moon is a symbol and a strong reminder of AMERICAN GREATNESS! Since they hate this country, they will do nothing to honor its greatness.

Unfortunately, this clip has subtitles in Spanish, and amusingly all measurements are converted in the subtitles to metric, which reminds me of the saying "there are two types of countries in the world, those that use the metric system and those that have landed a man on the moon..."
