They would be driving?
900 Silver Alerts a day?
Old Timers and dementia not resolved?
Entire aisle or more at store for Depends?
Full trafic lanes for 4 wheel scooters?
List goes on
alzheimers costs about 186 billion with a b annually in the USA
You can buy the precursor, niacinamide riboside, from at least a dozen outfits. They all buy from a single supplier. Cost: $40/month.
Or buy niacinamide, which has hundreds of suppliers, at one tenth the cost. But it may take ten (or more) times as much to have the same positive effects.
McCain and brain or new brain do not belong in the same sentence.
I am pretty sure that my retirement will run out by 75. Also pretty sure that my SS check wont cover the monthly bills. So I think I will pass.
Correct dosage (if we can transfer to humans from animal studies) would be 250-300 mg per day.
The FDA will never approve this because it will take forever to test.
The WW2 vets have been known as “The Greatest Generation”. Boomers can be known as “The Oldest Generation”. I’d like to live long enough that a vacation to Mars becomes affordable.
That would mean that pubic school teachers wouldn’t be able to retire until they were 60. They’d never agree to that.
The product put out by Elysium is just a combination of NAD+ and Pterostilbene, both of which are available separately from several sources. I get my NAD+ through the Life Extension Foundation during their yearly vitamin sale (November through January) at a sharp discount, and I get the Pterostilbene from Amazon. Along with all the other vitamins and supplements I take, my health is great. I just turned 70 two weeks ago, and most people assume I’m in my 50’s.
I don’t have proof that all of this is really retarding or reversing my aging process, but I figure it’s worth a shot. After all, if I were to do nothing, I KNOW I would eventually die, since that has been the universal fate of humans up to the present. Whereas if I can slow my aging, there’s an excellent chance that I might live indefinitely (barring accidents or other non-health-related fatal events). Anti-aging science is progressing at an exponential rate, and I fully expect that we’ll be able to cure aging in another few years. I want to be around when that happens, to see my grandchild and great-grandchildren and etc. grow up.
Curing old-age will undoubtedly have enormous impacts on society, but I’m optimistic that the positives will far outweigh the negatives. And for those individuals who think it’s an awful idea, they are free to not take advantage of the coming new technologies, and to die of old age in the normal fashion. Those of us who do utilize anti-aging technologies will still be around long after they are gone. A perfect example of evolution in action.
TheClintons living to 150. The mind boggles.
Great! Now that is punishment. No way I want to live til 150. Good grief. The way things are going. Well have a lot of elderly that cant afford a coffee from McDonalds. Can you imagine living on that 1500 dollar social security check in 50 years....I guess by then it would be 1545 dollars. Yippee!
a Dunkin Donuts cup of coffee or a Starbucks cup of coffee?
If you have not figured out how to become of independent means after 50 years of working, you have not bothered to read the numerous books on the subject.
Saving just 10% of your income for 50 years at 7% annual interest after inflation (index fund of the stock market for the last 80 years) gives you 45.6 times your annual income in investments, or 3.2 times your annual income forever (at 7% return).
At a very modest 4% annual interest after inflation, you get 16.0 times your annual income, or .64 times your annual income forever (at 4% return).
It is not a stunning breakthrough until it is proven, until then it is just grant bait.
Trust me, at 100, 50 more truly is hell.
I dont see anything about vitamins on their website.
which brand you taking?
