If McCain was really as great as his eulogizers would have you believe he would have used the occasion of his death to bring the country together and invite Trump and Melania to the funeral. Instead he will be perceived as another tragic victim of Trump Derangement Syndrome. I suspect almost no one at the service today voted for McCain in 2008 and most vilified him publicly.
McCain’s legacy is death and destruction in Syria, in Libya, in Yemen and the tide of migrants-refugees and the crimes of murder, rape etc. they brought to Europe and beyond.
Many at Sen McCain’s funeral spoke of unity and bipartisanship and then went on to blatantly bash Pres Trump. Amazing how they don’t see their own hypocrisy.
