Meghan McCain tore into an absent President Trump at a memorial service for her father, Arizona Sen. John McCain, in Washington on Saturday.
“We gather here to mourn the passing of American greatness,” McCain, a co-host of “The View,” said at the National Cathedral. “The real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly, nor the opportunistic appropriation of those who lived lives of comfort and privilege.”
“He was a great fire who burned bright,” she said in a speech punctuated by sobbing. “A few have resented that fire… but my father never cared what they thought.
“The America of John McCain does not need to be made great again, because America was always great.”

Well great - both Aretha and McCain have been bumped down to political rhetoric as parts of their “remembrances” ....kind of poetic in a way...with Al Sharpton and Meghan McCain around, folks need to be careful who they invite to their funeral services....
Yes indeed.
Ya know usually I give grieving people a whole lot of room for obvious reasons, but not in this case....'every detail' of this show was planned well in advance and with their true motive and purpose in full display of the audience they knew would be watching.......whatever critisizm they get from this show is well deserved and asked for.
The election of Trump did not create the hate and bitternerness that was displayed.......... It revealed it!
It is scenes like this that show just how wide and deep is the deep state and the forces are that surround President Trump.
