A memorial service for Sen. John McCain is taking place in Washington Saturday. Former President George W. Bush and former President Barack Obama are giving eulogies at the service at the Washington National Cathedral. Both men defeated McCain in his two campaigns to become president, in 2000 and 2008. President Trump is not attending.
The service begins at 10:00 a.m. ET.
The "maverick" senator was previously honored at a memorial ceremony in his home state of Arizona Thursday, where he was eulogized by friend and luminaries such as former Vice President Joe Biden. Thousands of citizens paid respect as he lay in state at the Arizona Capitol.

Jesse says, “are you seeing what I’m seeing?” That woke those two old geezers up. But Bill said, “I have to be careful - Hillary is watching me.” OR possibly, “Hillary IS WATCHING.”
It is just political theater, meant to influence the midterms during an election year. I have had no desire to watch any of it. If anyone really cared about mr. McCain they would be in a church praying for his soul, not on TV getting some camera time.
I don’t know about this service but yesterday I had to turn to C Span to get rid of all the yak-yak going on with the networks.
This is bordering on torture. Stick him in the ground already.

Megan just gave the longest, mist elietiest, snobbiest, rambling, snearingly offensive eulogy EVER!
There will be a follow up funeral and visitation in Vietnam’s Hanoi Hilton to allow his friends there to smile. Then, his casket will be lying in State in Russia, prior to being interred next to Lenin.
Megan inherited the vindictiveness and pettiness of her father. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Yeah, we get it, Meghan. You loved your dad, your dad suffered in Viet Nam. But what I’ll never forget is how your dad could ALWAYS be counted upon to rush out and side with the Dems against any true conservative bills, and often succeeding in defeating them. Your dad, through innuendo, demeaned actual conservatives, often using the lexicon of the left.
I refuse to watch The Swamp sh!tshow.
