I’ve been off TV for about 15 years. Had it til power was gone but just never watched it. Had Dish for my mom & kept it a short time after she died but I never had it on & was a horrendous expense.

I am sue they are some good programs on (entertainment - not news) but haven’t been into that since Dallas .. the original one...yup a long time ago.

With the TV I mostly watched movies. Blu Ray & DVD.. now I can do DVD on my Mac Book Pro when the device is powered up or I am at a power source

I find the news I want/need PLUS the valuable commentary is RIGHT HERE

also FACEBOOK for me has value.. several political groups and a lot of conservative friends I have basically eliminated al liberal family/friends. A few remain who can be considerate and intelligent in their discussion

I pretty much only watch Hallmark Dolly. AND I have a large movie collection of mostly old movies I watch. I do listen to folks here on what movies are worth buying and I buy used quite often along with used books. I actually like the feel of a used book...LOL
