Thank you sweet friend BUT I don’t do any ping or main tread posting from phone. It is a disaster with HTML . I of course must get to wifi and then use my MacBook Pro. Apple’s notebook. it has a keyboard and 13” screen for those not familiar.
I also have to use notebook to update the Archive page. And it is how I watch library movies!
Im on it now at the motel I am staying at. Todays plans include a trip down to Amish country. My friends touring Alaska cut their trip short by 4 weeks (not totally sure why) but are now home and I had left a LOT of things in their home in anticipation of returning for one more stay.
Included is a box of food, spices, etc which I can use here at motel with my crock pot and electric skillet to cook and small frig to store things other than wine and beer! LOL
While Im gone will have a crock pot going on low with Lucy food. Brown rice, chicken, some veggies
Your stories on lobster were fun. I didn’t have my first lobster (or shrimp or scallops) until I was into my twenties. Just not a menu item on my mom’s slavic cooking program.
I can recall one day after school... I was teaching in Boston. My hubby was Navy on carrier on Yankee Station(bombing route in VietNam) and I received a patched in CB call from him. Excited I was. I just had gotten a pizza delivery. Mom and pop place. My fav an onion and seafood(scallops, lobster, shrimp) offering. Very heavy seafood and the real stuff - not flavored white fish. I could down a whole one easily back then.
I was on floor eating first piece and doing a project. Went to bedroom to talk to Bob - perhaps half hour.
Came back and Fluffy(yes, same persian who bit me) had opened box and ate all the seafood off .. and there was a lot. She was cleaning up... Red pizza sauce on white persian fur stands out. It was annoying but humorous at same time. Think I munched on a piece remaining while I awaited a follow up delivery of same!
