His first wife had class. After everything he did to her, she never said anything bad about him, blaming it on a middle-aged thing. Who knows what he told Cindy? You’re right, the whole thing was totally classless and cruel on both their parts. But I blame him more than her, especially given her age at the time.
His first wife was so physically changed by a car accident. As he was by his POW experience. Yet he was OK to treat her horrible for it and he got a pass.
