As I watch John McCain’s presidential campaign degenerate into a dark, disgraceful display of veiled racism unworthy of the hero who suffered in Vietnam, I’m reminded of the late J.J. “Jake” Pickle, the venerable congressman who represented Central Texas from 1963 to 1995, and a story he once told me about the toughest vote of his career.

When McCain was alive the media called him a racist and a race baiter. Now that McCain is deceased, the same media is using him a a weapon against President Trump.
No no no... they only called him a racist when he was the (R) in the presidential race. After that, it got back to the old love fest because he went back to attacking Republicans.

I held my nose real tight, and voted for McCain in 2008. I still believe that McCain most likely voted for 0bama in 08 and 12, and voted for Clinton in 16.
Can we get an apology from Barack Obama for lying about being a naturalized American citizen and fraudulently running for office?
The mere act of running against Obama was racist! Oh, except for Hillary in the primaries. To vote against her was sexist, against him was racist...lose - lose proposition for RATs.
