I agree that a Democrat takeover will mean an immediate Trump impeachment. However, Trump like Clinton will not be removed from office. The impeachment will consume Congress for most of 2019 and nothing else will get done. The American people will be sickened by the squealing of glee by the liberal media, the 24/7 coverage of the impeachment and Congress doing nothing to address real issues. 2020 will come with a very soured electorate and a Democrat party that offers nothing, but higher taxes and open borders.

I hope you are right.

One of the enduring influential legacies that a president can leave to offset the vagaries of congressional shifts and administrations are the courts. Unfortunate, but that is the way it is these days. Courts were NEVER intended to wield the power they claim today, but moving the courts back closer to their original compartmentalized power would do wonders for this country.

I do not. They could only get away with that if they were successful in tanking his approval numbers, as they did to Nixon. Well more than half the country solidly supports Trump, and they know it. Moving to impeach would trigger CW 2.0, which they are not prepared to win.
