Fine. Trump did not “arbitrarily” revoke anything. He revoked the security clearance Brennan was granted for cause; Brennan had clearly and repeatedly violated the stipulations of the CIA rules by which he had top secret clearance. Trump did nothing wrong, and is well within the authority of the office of the president to do so.
Top Secret security clearance is not a right. It is a privilege, and more it is a responsibility, and a gravely important one at that. It is not covered by the 1st Amendment, and does not constitute speech. To claim so is to either knowingly lie, or demonstrate only a feeble understanding of what rights are and the Constitution in general.
Brennan has lied to congress, and committed acts that would definitely disqualify anyone else of retaining that crucially important clearance. He has profited monitarily by his access to top secret information via his job as political pundit at CNN, and may have thus seriously violated the Espionage Act and other statutes that govern state secrets and national security. He is guilty of violating the very spirit of the CIA rules, and has no business continuing this kind of treasonous activity.
Warner needs to either consult basic texts to get his understanding of Constitutional Rights up to the level of a High School student of past decades, or he should resign for cause. That cause would be willful deception of the public trust.
methinks warner might need to sober up also...
Brennan should be frog marched into a Federal pen.
