>>Assurance of salvation isn't based on presumption but PROMISE.<<
This is the promise: I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, for the life of the world. (John 6:51-52) If you want to have eternal life, come to the Eucharistic table. This is THE promise in context:
Then Jesus declared, I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Fathers will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. (John 6:35-40)
If you want to have eternal life, you believe on Jesus Christ.

If you want to have eternal life, you believe on Jesus Christ. All of us saved ex catholics know this, but Ann alex engages in Catholic speak, so you probably have to completely explain, letter by letter, what it means to "believe on Jesus Christ." I think many catholics know this in their heads, but not necessarily in their heart of hearts.
Now that we are home from Paradise Island, we are ready to do spiritual warfare again. :-)

If you want to have eternal life, you believe on Jesus Christ. That is true, and if you believe on Jesus Christ, you read and obey the rest of the chapter.
Or else you "no longer walk with Him". The Gospel gave the Protestants a direct warning that faith in Christ must include faith in the Eucharist.
