I don't' know if this is stupidity or dishonesty, but I did not say anything of the kind. The Holy Scripture is certainly inspired, how else the Church would propose it for your salvation?
Leo XIII on the inerrancy of scripture (from Providentissimus Deus) [ecum.]
Read.
If your church is responsible for the Bible and Scripture as you claim, then it’s the work of man and not inspired.
Please see post 236. And if you accept what Leo XIII stated, then why would you state, "The Church does not go by what is and what is not in the Holy Scripture"?
But, to get back on topic, if the scriptures are inerrant then why would the Catholic Church feel the need to "openly recognize" a homosexuality problem in the Church? It seems to me that if the Church wrote the scriptures as you claim, and Pope Leo confirmed they are inerrant, and you seemingly (if not grudgingly admit) that the Church follows the scriptures, then the solution should be to follow what you have written. Hopefully not stone homosexuals as in Leviticus but to put them out of the Church. I'm not sure what "openly recognize" the problem is suppose to mean given what you have stated.
