The 1991 Military Parade through D.C. cost an estimated 8 million, 3 million of which came from the tax payers and the other 5 from private sources.

From the same article...

The U.S. has not held a major military parade in Washington since 1991 to mark the end of Operation Desert Storm. The 1991 parade reportedly cost approximately $8 million and was paid for with about $3 million in government funds and the rest with private donations.

This unnamed "source" say's a similar parade will cost more than 10 times that? Sounds like a Trump hater who doesn't want Trump getting any kind of positive reaction from "middle" America. Trump could get this done for 12 - 15 million tops with the cost to taxpayers around 5 or 6 million and the rest from private sources

I'd much rather our gov't spend 6 million on a national military parade than 6 million on welfare for foreign nationals here illegally (most of which spit on our flag).

This parade can be used to showcase transgender troops, maternity BDUs, that new x-back helmet specially designed to accommodate buns and ponytails, and girl infantry soldiers including 101st Airborne and 75th Ranger GI Janes. That bold brave first female Marine infantry officer being touted the other day can lead the parade. A ROTC company can march in glittery red heels to draw awareness to #metoo.

1991, meet 2018...
