I guess incumbent Dem Dan’l Boone, er, Dannel Malloy not running for re election and GOP may have a chance?

Vox: “Despite the state’s heavy liberal lean, voters are deeply displeased with the floundering economic policies of current Gov. Dannel Malloy, and they could take out their frustration on the Democrats running to succeed him.

Malloy took office in 2011 and promised to revitalize the state as it was still recovering from the financial crisis. Two terms later, much of what he pledged has been slow to materialize. Instead, Connecticut continues to face a roughly $2 billion deficit, even after tax hikes pushed through by Malloy and the Democratic-controlled legislature.”

Malloy was a psycho, plain and simple. Perhaps the few sane people left in Connecticut finally came to realize it, but too late.

Screw em all. I used to love to visit relatives in Bridgeport and Trumbull, etc, but that was when the state was clean, safe and not led by a bunch of nuts and reds (which makes them now similar to Rhode Island today).

If Ned is a direct relative of old Soviet operative Corliss Lamont, then somebody had better dig very deep into his family’s history of “collusion with the Soviets/KGB”.

Corliss is legendary amongst internal security specialists for his treason yetwas allowed to be a college professor for so long (to poison lots of impressionable minds), with a “Chair” at Columbia Un. being named after him. The only name any “chair” being named for him would be “Old Sparky”.
