If you did that, half the churches would have to close.
We had a coven in MA. The death of the church will take a few years. First the parishioners will leave in droves. Then the lawsuits will drain them dry.
THEN more than half of the parishes will close.
At every part of the legal process the church was obstructionist. At every turn the church tried to protect their rapists.
The church has not learned it’s lesson. The losers are the faithful. But, blind faith in men is a bad plan.
You wouldn’t have to close the church.....just rid the church of the problem.
