And when your primary weapon is ridicule, lying or some version of deceptiveness, you will never be prepared to cope with reality.

#19. Alinksy never cared about being “forced to reckon with reality”. He knew he was going to be long dead before his proteges (Obama, Hillary, etc) and the mindless leftist zombies got into positions of power.
I met the man. He was a dedicated Marxist but smarter than the average Russian Bear. He was an American Marxist Bear who better understood the environment he had to work in than most Soviet/Stalinist communists, both Russian and American.
His objective was to train them in the art of psychological warfare for the long run, and he was successful (ACORN, Working Families Party, Democratic Socialists of America, Progressives for Obama, Democrats for Obama - often all the same people in different groups and roles).
Never underestimate your enemy. That is what he wants you to do, and if you do, you’re finished.
