This kind of humor is deceptive in that the person enjoying it is inclined to think they’re being smart. Especially because they believe the person doing the ridiculing is smart.

Some of the most vicious at my non-denom high school became ordained ministers.
I have found that increasingly disturbing over the years. I finally left some of those relationships.
