The more I engage with the q people the more I realize how detached from reality they are. They truly inhabit their own little world. How sad and pathetic.
That is just NOT true. I've stayed up til very early in the mornings reading almost every post (have to catch up with the latest because of the primaries yesterday but I'll get Qaught up).
The Q threads have been fairly civil for the most part. When it does become a little uncivil, ransomnote and others have been good about getting things back under control. Much of the unrest comes from the anti-Q trolls who barge in there trying to disrupt the conversations.
Like I mentioned earlier, there is a ton of info being disseminated and vetted there. It's like any conversations with a group of people in real life.
Try to be informed of what is being discussed, be civil, politely inject info to be disseminated, good or bad and most of the time you won't have any problems. If one barges in there without doing any of these things, it's just like in real situations, that is considered rude.
Don't be surprised if some FReepers call that person out on that behavior as many wouldn't act rude like that in a real situation so why there.

You can tell most of the q people are in fact juveniles since adults are at work during the day or are retired. This q stuff is mostly kids. They like the decoder stuff. No logic, no reasoning, no common sense. Its kids.
