The concept that the American people, especially the mouth breathers that inhabit fly over country, are too stupid to manage the complexities of the modern world and need to be controlled by the ever so brilliant elite technocrats has been mainstream Progressive thought for east the last 30 years.

Had to listen to this crap in classrooms, social gatherings and in facility lounges on a regular basis back in the day

BTW, these people do not consider anyone fully human unless they have a degree from an elite university. They have ultimate contempt and hatred for the middle class normals in America

They have considered it their mission in life to indoctrinate their students with their beliefs. FWIW, they have succeeded and they are winning.
