Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes reportedly joked on Friday about the assault on Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., by his neighbor, saying it shows ‘he can be beaten’.
Associated Press reporter Adam Beam tweeted that Democrat Grimes made the remark at a local Fancy Farm Picnic in Kentucky on Friday, which Kentucky political candidates often use as the kickoff for election campaigns. Grimes is considering running for governor in 2019.

Grimes’ remark sparked a response from Paul's chief strategist Doug Stafford, who made a reference to Grimes’ failed 2014 Senate run, where she attempted to unseat Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.“That’s almost as sad and pathetic as her last campaign,” he said. “Mitch beat her so bad he almost got charged with a hate crime.”

the MSM, 24/7 would call for that person to drop out of the race or resign.

And, remember it was the liberals, after the Tucson shooting, who told us we aren’t to use any violent imagery or metaphors. This Alison Grimes is violating the liberals own rules here.

Personally find nothing humorous in the content of what this woman stated. The guy assaulting Paul was a coward using coward’s tactics, and seriously injured Paul. Nothing funny period.

Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes should be arrested for hate speech. There was nothing funny about Sen. Rand Paul being blindsided and seriously injured by a thug. Is that what Grimes thinks is okay to say?
Do the Democrats have anything intelligent to offer?
And demand that every other conservative, from the President on down “denounce” the candidate.
