One thing to remember is that this hire wasn't for a reporter, it was for an editor; that is, Jeong is going to be a News Shaper and Keeper Of The Narrative. Biased headlines? Misdirection in the ledes? Careful phrasing to manipulate the reader? Strategic omissions? That's where that stuff comes from. It isn't accidental, in fact, it's a rather evil art form.Tammy Bruce was on Fox Business with Varney this morning. She said that because Jeong is not going to be signing articles with a byline, her writing will remain anonymous allowing her to perform as you describe above. She also said that a person in a similar position was fired earlier this year when examination of his/her previous tweets showed support for traditional Judeo/Christian norms.
