That is a real skill quickly and competently handling the video on the phone and doing so under pressure and possibly covertly. That takes practice.

A skill that should be developed. But there are cameras made for mounting on vehicles: one on the dash in the front and another one low behind or around the bumper facing towards the rear for tag numbers. I like to have the low, rear mount camera in a protected place with enough of a hole for it to see through.

If you do concealed carry, more training is always good. There are all kinds of schools. Getting trained with pepper spray and carrying it are also great for some situations.

Concealed carry insurance is a necessity, IMO--something like CCW Safe, although there are other good companies and organizations. The different providers offer different kinds of policies. It's wise to shop for the kind of insurance/retainer that might best fit your predicted possible situations.

Cameras and other security around the house are also recommended, and for do-it-yourself-ers, much less costly than before.
