How did Podesta get immunity to testify against Manafort, yet they just announced Podesta has been charged by DoJ? What kind of immunity works like that? This is a perverse version of justice.
If I read it right then Podesta doesn’t have immunity. Some news outlets say he is referred to be charged and the immunity as revealed was to these 5 persons:

Cindy Laporta
Conor O’Brien
Donna Duggan
James Brennan
I am not a lawyer, but from what I have read it seems there was a rumor about Podesta immunity and now these 5 were unsealed we know he actually doesn’t have it. (And neither does Tad Devine).
