I’m guessing the judge will get infuriated with the trial and dismiss charges.

He is facing trials by jurors drawn from jury pools that are hostile to Republicans. And you can bet that the prosecution knows this. Hopefully, the defense managed to sneak in some jurors who care about facts and truth.
