Their position is that someone will try to assault Paul if he were in general, which may be true when you think about it. He shouldn’t be in jail at all, he should be home on bail. They’re saying he tried to bribe a witness while he was on bail or something so the judge revoked it and put him there.

The long and the short of it is they are putting the screws to PM and trying to squeeze him. This is wrong on so many levels and I never thought I would see the day when this can happen to an American by his own govt over politics.

It’s disgusting and it’s scary.

He violated his house arrest rules, so he lost his privilege and was jailed. He went to jail because he failed to follow house arrest instructions.

Because the prosecution had not published a witness list, Manafort could not be sure which of his friends and associates were to be witnesses, and he should not be expected to disassociate himself from all of his friends and associates.
