Oh I totally agree. Manafort was singled out precisely because of his political affiliations and proximity to the Trump sphere of power. Manafort was somewhat flamboyant, so they decided to go up his legal asscrack with a flashlight, found dirt, and now have him where they want him... begging for “a deal”. It's completely sovietesque. Meanwhile Hillary, a veritable legal wrecking-crew, but in the good graces of the same prosecutors, walks free.

I am of the opinion that this is the real game that is being played. Set up a situation that calls for the President to pardon or commute a sentence and then use that act against the President in the 2020 election.
